NIGERIA

The ministry of AFCI in Nigeria is working to reach unreached people groups with the Gospel, including some groups that are hostile to the Christian faith.

AFCI evangelists are regularly visiting poor rural areas to share Christ. AFCI Nigeria has “adopted” the Ibaribas and the Igede/Gatte groups to see them come to the saving knowledge of Christ.

Training of pastors to help them better lead their churches is also a priority. A conference center has been constructed near Ilorin, Nigeria, to provide ongoing training of pastors through seminars and conferences. These conferences and seminars are developing Christian workers to become effective ministers who can influence the nation for Christ. Those lacking formal training have been significantly impacted.
