A local school teacher with a burden for his village invited the AFCI Pakistan team to his church to teach on revival. Part of AFCI’s mission is “Revival in the church” so the team eagerly accepted the invitation, even though it meant traveling hundreds of kilometers. More than 50 people attended the seminar.

The AFCI team emphasized the key ingredients of spiritual revival: Repentance, confession, and reconciliation among the members of the church.

At the end of the seminar, one woman approached the team and said,

“I have been serving the Lord in my church specifically among the women. In this seminar, I have learned that revival needs [me to be] reconciled with my fellow sisters. I admit that my heart needed to be cleansed to experience revival in our church. Now, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I feel my heart is clean to love other believers without jealousy and envy.”

It is true that revival starts with me.
