Being acutely aware of the situation around them, AFCI Myanmar has opened their arms to several nearby orphanages. AFCI Myanmar is focused on providing solid biblical training to adults, but when there is a need they are ready to help.

It is hard to determine exactly how many orphans there are in Myanmar, but every estimate is overwhelming. Covid-19 has also had a dramatic effect on the education of young children. Unicef estimates almost 12 million children have had their learning impacted by the impact of the virus.

AFCI Mynamar is working with four local orphanages to combat both challenges. For example, they recently delivered school supplies for 46 children to help keep them learning during further lockdowns and restrictions. The team also prayed with the children before leaving.
