Meeting Needs in Rural Cambodia
95 needy families braved the weather and came to an outreach event hosted by AFCI Cambodia in Kampong Thom province. Each family received a food package from AFCI, as well as a New Testament from the Gideons.
Alumni from the ICPC (Institute of Church Planting in Cambodia, a ministry of AFCI) worked with community and village leaders to organize the event.
An essential part of the outreach was a Gospel presentation by Thona Cheam, AFCI Cambodia National Director. Many of the villagers in rural areas of Cambodia have never heard the Gospel and events such as this allow AFCI to meet both spiritual and physical needs.
The team is planning a second trip to Kampong Thom in November of this year.
