It’s hard to believe that almost a year and a half has passed since war struck Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Despite the many hardships and challenges, the AFCI Ukraine team continues to trust God for the resources necessary to serve as a source of hope for thousands of internally displaced persons (IDPs) who seek refuge in their area. Many have lost everything – both family and possessions – and are unable to return home until the war ends.

Wally Vasylovych, National Director of AFCI Ukraine, states, “We provide both humanitarian and spiritual assistance, offering food, support, and sharing the message of the Gospel.”

This spring, the AFCI team organized a special Easter program for children from refugee families who have seen and suffered so much. The team shared the story of Christ’s resurrection while providing an enjoyable family time, sending each child home with a present.

Additionally, AFCI offers other services such as free high-quality dental care to internally displaced persons.

We are grateful for the grace of God and the support of partners like you in making a difference during these challenging times. Let’s not forget Ukraine and the hardships and danger that so many face on a daily basis because of the ongoing war.
