Samuel had a life-changing experience in 1999, when he was invited by Eugenio Berruezo (then National Director of Spain) to go on a missions trip with AFCI to Croatia. Samuel says, “That trip changed my life and I started to collaborate with AFCI Spain as a volunteer when we came back to Spain. Two years later I was working full time with AFCI and a few years later I was asked to take over for Eugenio as National Director.”
Since joining AFCI, he has developed a passion to see revival come to churches in Spain. In recent years he helped pioneer a new church in Vilanova, Spain, and even served the church as a part-time pastor until a full-time pastor was identified. The church is now fully functioning on its own, and Samuel is focusing on developing seminars and materials for churches across Spain to evangelize and train the next generation of Christians.
In 2000 Samuel graduated from IBSTE Bible School in Barcelona Spain with a degree in Theology. He is presently working on his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Catalunya in Barcelona to further his ministry leadership abilities.
Samuel is married to Sandra, who teaches kindergarten. Together they have a beautiful young daughter. You can often find him camping with his family and pursing his passion to learn new technologies.
